A Website Preserving Financial Integrity with Uncompromising Security

The global LuLu Exchange, headquartered in Abu Dhabi and operating over 180 branches, approached us. We designed, developed, and launched a multi-regional website for LuLu Exchange. LuLu wanted a web page that depicts the best features of the LuLu Money app, and to direct the visitors to the App Store or Play Store respectively. We have successfully crafted a highly responsive and user-friendly website that has the potential to convert visitors into customers.

Context

Transferring a New Technical Transaction for Lulu Exchange

On a winter morning, Mr. Traveller is all set for an expedition along the west countryside of Germany. The chilly, biting winter pushes our protagonist to a humble cigar store to get a puff, which only costs half a dime. Just as he slips his hands in his pocket, he discovers he only has dollars and no "Euros." Stuck in European suburbs without any Euros in cash, Mr. Traveller is now in search of a Money Exchange Unit to finally find his "Euro-eka!"

As we travel across countries and continents, beyond the exchange of cultures and values, monetary values also need to be exchanged, and funds should be handy. One of the world's largest retail industry leaders, LuLu Group, recognized this need and invested their best efforts to spread out across countries and aid in money transfers and exchanges at the best rates.

Goal

Testing the New Waters for Money Flow

With superfluous shopping channels and entertainment venues hosted by LuLu, the subdivision of money exchange and transfer was alienated from their usual business models and needed additional strategizing and consultation to leap forward.

The fundamental idea that "money is just a piece of paper if it can’t be put to use" was rephrased by the timely intervention of LuLu Group, and the solution was laid as the foundation of "LuLu Exchange". With multiple regional offices set across different countries, the brand ideals of LuLu Exchange were having split interceptions, and this came as a twisted plot.

Challenges

Lessons from Challenges That We Can’t Afford to Forget

The project was successfully completed and delivered to the client, meeting all their brand ideals, tech expectations, and desired user experience. The project timeline and cost were specific and highly appreciated by the LuLu Group. The team highly acknowledged the readiness to develop, deconstruct, and redevelop each tech layer, which earned us some extra brownie points in terms of client satisfaction.

Process

Building the Digital Framework for Technical Transactions

After compiling the diverse set of inputs as suggested by the regional heads, the website was all set to be designed. The professional and corporate faces exuding a token of trust and attention were notably mentioned all along the wireframes while detailing the user experience. The user interface was intuitively designed with rich elements that spoke of class and service with real-time data presentation. The differential design reflected on each page was carefully planned and executed to deliver a variant experience to each site visitor, just as the "value of money" changes from "site to site".

The development cycle was strategically completed in an agile methodology with sprint speed and tracebacks to the requirement elicitation process to get a compilation of changing inputs, approvals, and another cycle of development. The testing was concrete, with fluctuating user requirements and consistent updates in the code logic. Between multiple test cases, the project had multiple reconfigurations to meet the exact expectations of the inputs. Special attention was given to the "filter layers" of the tech stack to give advanced search options and get filtered data results inclusive of 280 branches.

This paved the way to build a digital face that exuded the real brand virtues and exchanged the real value of LuLu Exchange uniformly with all regional offices and the audience reaching out to them. The technical expertise and digital assistance were all set to be drawn from Webandcrafts, and the initial discussion with the vast team members of LuLu Exchange started.

The revamped website could eliminate the spam errors that were flooding in due to technically poor backend logic. In addition, faster data fetch, instant updates on customer queries, and a faster response rate were enabled.
